Got a call in the early morning while in the bathroom for federal loan consolidation. So of course, I’m very irritated, think it’s a money scam of some sort, and I get rid of the person on the other end as soon as possible. The person on the other end seemed very upset that I was refusing the offer. Most telemarketers aren’t like that. So I decided to actually check this thing out on the Internet - and lo and behold, federal loan consolidation is for real. So tomorrow I send in the paperwork for it with Citibank. Now I feel bad about being rude on the phone.
