It’s cold and windy. I imagine that Germany will be even colder. I woke up earlier than I wanted to to go eat breakfast with Maryam. I think we both had a pretty good time. I spent the afternoon shopping for necessary travel accessories. When I returned, Michael and Adam had already left.

Nicky’s friend Jackie came over to visit. Otherwise, Nicky would be all alone over Christmas Break. Nicky, Jackie, Alex, Elysia, and I spent the night ice skating at Centennial Olympic Park, while intermittenly consuming hot chocolate to keep warm. The ingenious idea of ice skating in the freezing cold was Elysia’s idea. We returned home fairly late, and I was completely exhausted by the end of the day.
