Having a good group of study friends pays off. I felt pretty confident about the exam I had today in Microelectronic Circuits. Instrumentation & Circuits Lab also went quite well today. We didn’t have a lab so I went ahead and knocked out almost all of the next three homeworks, with the help of our fabulous TA, of course. Upgraded to the new version of gaim, with a slick new interface and the long-awaited file transfer support.

During lab, I worked on homework. In the evening, I prepared a rough draft for my Instrumentation & Circuits Lab writing assignment. Discovered MakeIndex, a LaTeX utility to quickly generate indices for a report. Experimented with the refman.sty layout for the report, but I’ll probably end up not using it. The layout for the report looks quite nice now. Just need to add content.
Tracy and I had a nice chat on the telephone before I went to bed.
The weekend is almost at an end. I spent a large part of the morning and evening studying for Instrumentation & Circuits Lab, primarily by working on sample exams from previous years. I also programmed several functions into the HP calculator to simplify my life during the exam. I finally stopped procrastinating and just gave in and learned the infamous Y-Delta; transform (pronounced wye-delta).
