I’m Going to Buy a Mac
I’ve had so much frustration with Windows Vista that I’ve finally decided that it isn’t worth it anymore. My next PC is going to be a Mac.
Update: An alternative may be to get OS X running on a standard PC.

Speaking from personal experience, I recommend not installing OS X on a beige box. It’s not particularly hard, but the differences in hardware will make for an unstable, unhappy experience. You may get better mileage if you build one from scratch with the most similar hardware you can find, but a random beige box will have an unsuitably random assortment. The most flakey part for me was the graphics card, which happened to be the most similar piece of hardware in the box. I only managed to get one ethernet port working, as they were different chipsets.
I’m a little jealous. I recently bought a high-end Dell, but now I am wishing I had bought an all-in-one Mac. Oh well, I’ll get one in five years, when it’s time to upgrade.
