            *    Developed, maintained, and managed modern HMI 
                 system ("Treat Right") for chemical treatment 
                 plants using iFIX, as well as custom VBA and 
                 VB.NET software using OPC, SQL, and Crystal 
                 Reports.
            *    Provided in-house training on architecture, 
                 design methodologies, best practices, and 
                 common deployment pitfalls for HMI system for 
                 other Engineers in a classroom environment.
            *    Instrumental in creation of customer issue 
                 tracking system in SharePoint to provide 
                 quantitative metrics to upper management for 
                 continuous improvement within the 
                 organization.
            *    Implemented a secure, high-speed initiative to
                 allow for VPN access to customer plants, 
                 migrating customers away from the legacy 
                 dial-up modem systems and streamlining 
                 customer support.
            *    Introduced and replaced commercial software 
                 with open source equivalents when applicable, 
                 such as OpenVPN, PDFCreator, UltraVNC, and 
                 PostgreSQL, reducing licensing cost and 
                 minimizing legal complexities for ourselves 
                 and our customers.
            *    Provided Engineering support internationally 
                 to chemical plants through telephone and 
                 networking, and supervised plant startups 
                 within the US.
            *    Wrote, designed, and produced custom ladder 
                 logic applications on the GE 90-30 and RX3i 
                 PLC platforms. Authored template ladder logic 
                 for wood treating industry, used as the 
                 baseline logic for every plant startup.
